B.Tech Program

Curriculum

2023 Batch onwards 2021-22 Batch

Academic Options

Should have no backlogs at the time of enrollment for any of the following programs.

Honors Degree

Apply during the 5th or 6th semester
  • Take advanced courses from your own department
  • B.Tech degree with honors in Civil Engineering
  • 6 credits of project work + 6 credits of advanced courses
Credits: 6 project credits + 6 advanced course credits
Eligibility: No backlogs at the time of enrollment.

Minor

Apply during the 5th semester
  • Get exposure to a different department
  • B.Tech in Civil Engg with a minor in another department
  • Take 12 credits from prescribed courses
Credits: 12 credits from prescribed courses
Eligibility: No backlogs at the time of enrollment.

Double Major

Apply during the 4th semester
  • Earn B.Tech degrees in two departments
  • Take 24 credits from the second department
Credits: 24 credits from the second department
Eligibility: No backlogs at the time of enrollment.

Dual Degree

Apply before the start of the 8th semester
  • Convert B.Tech to (B.Tech + M.Tech with stipend)
Eligibility: No backlogs at the time of enrollment, minimum CGPA required.

B.Tech to PhD

Apply during the 7th or 8th semester
  • Convert B.Tech to (B.Tech + PhD with stipend)
Eligibility: No backlogs at the time of enrollment, minimum CGPA required.
